Caring Parents REPORT TO: Denise Derrer
POSITION: Staff and Faculty Support
SCHEDULE: Flexible

Do you like to cook and/or bake? (Or maybe just buy tasty food?) Would you like to bless others through food and service?

Caring Parents (CP) serves as a support and encouragement ministry to the staff and faculty of CCHS. The team plans monthly birthday recognitions in the form of snacks or treats. CP also prepares and serves lunch to the CCHS team once each quarter. At Christmas and Teacher Appreciation Week, the CP team will plan something special for the CCHS staff and faculty. Caring Parents are also occasionally called upon to help with food needs for CCHS events, such as desserts for the New Parent Dinner.

Caring Parents members will receive emails to request food or supply donations (such as paper plates).
CP team members who are interested in being part of the planning/hosting team should contact Denise Derrer directly. These parents will help plan events, recruit food donors (via email), set up food and clean up at the end of the day. This requires a little more time, but all dates are set early in the school year.
